Your area of responsibility includes:

• Independent development of chemometric evaluation methods in the field of optical process spectroscopy 
• Creation of calibrations and models to predict concentrations in beverages and implementation of the methods into the process analytical infrastructure 
• Participation in the further development of the hardware and software of our process analysis systems 
• Analysis and optimization of plant engineering issues 
• Collaboration in the execution of publicly funded technology and development projects 
• Documentation and presentation of achieved results internally as well as to customers 
• General laboratory work with wet chemical and volumetric methods, e.g., titration processes, including their programming 
• About 10% travel activities to German and European customers

For a successful start at Dausch Technologies you will need:

• A completed technical or university degree (Dipl.-Ing, B.Sc., or M.Sc.), preferably in process analytical technology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a similar technical/scientific field; some initial industrial work experience is a plus 
• Knowledge of optical spectroscopy methods 
• Experience in method development, calibration and validation of quantitative analytical procedures with associated statistical evaluations 
• Experience with chemometric analysis methods and Design of Experiments (DoE) 
• Good technical English and no inhibition about speaking English
